In order
to meet increasingly demanding requirements for ease
of use, versatility and flexibility, the UV-VIS LabRAM
HR incorporates new techniques in optical system design.
With carefully selected and optimized components (new
CCDs, Objectives, coatings, and gratings) and with
new optical solutions (coupling optics, spectrograph
design, automation) a high thoughput and UNIQUELY
UV-VIS capable instrument has evolved.
- FAST
OPERATION
Unlike achromat based systems the DUAL PATH optics
of the LabRAM HR UV-VIS-NIR offers fast, simple
switching between UV and Vis/NIR regions.
No adjustment or alignment is required.
-
BROAD SPECTRAL RANGE
A further benefit of the UNIQUE Dual Path optics
is that the instrument functions over the widest
spectral range - without compromising sensitivity
or spatial resolution. It can thus be applied
to PL emission along with Raman measurements for
samples such as GaN.
- HIGH
RESOLUTION
Unlike the smaller benchtop instruments, the LabRAM
HR has a long 800mm focal spectrometer integrated
within the instrument. The longer focal length
enables the spectral resolution of the instrument
to be maintained even when operating down in the
Deep UV. (Typically a resolution of 1 cm-1/pixel
in this UV region, is achieved compared to ~4 cm-1/pixel
with the smaller instruments available.)
